AI TRiSM
Overview
AI TRiSM (AI trust, risk and security management) is a set of practices and technologies for AI governance, security, privacy, robustness, and reliability.
In Gartner’s definition, AI TRiSM includes interpretability/explainability, data protection, model operations, and adversarial attack resistance.
Why it matters for agentic systems
As systems gain tool access, TRiSM becomes more important:
- you need auditing and policy enforcement
- you need continuous evaluation (drift, regressions)
- you need incident response and rollback
