AI TRiSM

Overview

AI TRiSM (AI trust, risk and security management) is a set of practices and technologies for AI governance, security, privacy, robustness, and reliability.

In Gartner’s definition, AI TRiSM includes interpretability/explainability, data protection, model operations, and adversarial attack resistance.

Why it matters for agentic systems

As systems gain tool access, TRiSM becomes more important:

  • you need auditing and policy enforcement
  • you need continuous evaluation (drift, regressions)
  • you need incident response and rollback
